A trip to Japan changed the way we saw matcha. It was not a trend or a performance. It was precise, considered, and woven into the rhythm of everyday life.
We came home inspired to build something that respects where matcha began without leaving it in the past: exceptional Japanese tea, expressed through the pace, style, and creative energy of a new generation.
That idea became Matcha Riot.

Our first drop begins with Uji-grown tencha and is expertly stone-milled in Shizuoka, bringing together two of Japan’s most respected tea traditions.
We do not reinvent the craft. We respect it, source with intention, and create a new context for the ritual.
